Quran Surat An-Nisa (Women) 4-Verse:154 (And We caused the Mount to tower above them at (the taking of) their covenant: and We bade them: Enter the gate, prostrate)

Quran V4:154

وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَهُمُ الطُّورَ بِمِيثَاقِهِمْ وَقُلْنَا لَهُمُ ادْخُلُوا الْبَابَ سُجَّدًا وَقُلْنَا لَهُمْ لَا تَعْدُوا فِي السَّبْتِ وَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُم مِّيثَاقًا غَلِيظًا[154]

{ ورفعنا فوقهم الطور } الجبل { بميثاقهم } بسبب أخذ الميثاق عليهم ليخافوا فقبلوه { وقلنا لهم } وهو مُظلِّ عليهم { ادخلوا الباب } باب القرية { سجدا } سجود انحناء { وقلنا لهم لا تعدوا } وفي قراءة بفتح العين وتشديد الدال وفيه إدغام التاء في الأصل في الدال أي لا تعدوا { في السبت } باصطياد الحيتان فيه { وأخذنا منهم ميثاقا غليظا } على ذلك فنقضوه .

[{And We raised the mountain above them} the mountain {because of their covenant} because of the covenant taken from them so that they would fear, and they accepted it. {And We said to them} while it was overshadowing them, {Enter the gate} the gate of the village {prostrating} prostrating with bowing.

          {And We said to them, “Do not transgress”} and in a reading with the letter ‘ayn open and the letter dal doubled, and in it the letter ta’ is assimilated into the dal, meaning do not transgress {on the Sabbath} by hunting fish on it. {And We took from them a solemn covenant} on that, and they broke it.]++

English Quran V4:154

And for their covenant, We raised over them the Mount and (on the other occasion) We said: "Enter the gate prostrating (or bowing) with humility;" and We commanded them: "Transgress not (by doing worldly works on) the Sabbath (Saturday)." And We took from them a firm covenant.

Et pour (obtenir) leur engagement, Nous avons brandi au-dessus d'eux le Mont Tor , Nous leur avons dit : "Entrez par la porte en vous prosternant"; Nous leur avons dit : "Ne transgressez pas le Sabbat"; et Nous avons pris d'eux un engagement ferme.

और हमने उनसे वादा लेने के लिए पहाड़ को उनके ऊपर उठा दिया, और उनसे कहा, "सिर झुकाकर दरवाज़े से अंदर जाओ।" और हमने कहा, "सब्त के दिन ज़्यादती मत करना।" इस तरह हमने उनसे वादा लिया।

ଏବଂ ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଏକ ପ୍ରତିଶ୍ରୁତି ନେବା ପାଇଁ ଆମେ ପର୍ବତକୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଉଠାଇଲୁ ଏବଂ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲୁ, "ମସ୍ତକ ନତ କରି ଦ୍ୱାରରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କର।" ଏବଂ ଆମେ କହିଲୁ, "ବିଶ୍ରାମବାରରେ ଲଙ୍ଘନ କର ନାହିଁ।" ଏହିପରି ଆମେ ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଏକ ପ୍ରତିଶ୍ରୁତି ନେଇଥିଲୁ।

為與他們締約，我曾把山高聳在他們的上面，我曾對他們說：「你們應當鞠躬而入城門。」我又對他們說：「你們在安息日不要超過法度。」我曾與他們締結一個嚴重的盟約。

(Яъни, яҳудийлар шариатга юрмаганлари ҳолда, нима қилсанг розимиз, деб аҳд берган эдилар. Худди ўша аҳдномаларига мувофиқ Аллоҳ таоло уларни қўрқитиш учун тепаларига Тур тоғини олиб келиб қўйди. Яҳудийлар ночор ҳолда қолдилар. Агар тавба қилмасалар, Аллоҳнинг айтганига кирмасалар, устиларидаги тоғ уларни босиб тушиши аниқ эди. Аммо яҳудийлар яна яҳудийликларини қилдилар. Ўзларини хавфдан ҳоли сезишлари билан дарҳол аҳдномани буздилар. Байтул Мақдисга тавозуъ билан эгилиб эмас, кетлари билан сурилиб кирдилар ва шанба куни балиқ овлашга ҳийла ўйлаб чиқардилар. Бас, ушбу қилган гуноҳлари ва бошқа (келаси оятларда зикр қилинадиган) айблари учун Аллоҳ таоло уларни лаънатлади.)

[English : And We raised the Mount above them in accordance with their covenant, and said to them, "Enter the gate bowing down and do not transgress." And We took from them a firm covenant.

 (That is, the Jews had made a covenant that we were pleased with whatever you did, even though they did not follow the Sharia. In accordance with that covenant, Allah Almighty brought Mount Tur above them to frighten them. The Jews were left helpless. If they did not repent and do not obey what Allah had said, the mountain above them would surely fall on them. 

                                       But the Jews returned to their Jewish ways. As soon as they felt safe, they immediately broke the covenant. They did not bow down in humility to the House, but crawled on their backs, and they devised a trick to catch fish on the Sabbath. So Allah Almighty cursed them for this and other sins (mentioned in the following verses).)]++
