Quran Surat An-Nisa (Women) 4-Verse:60 (Have you not seen those who claim to have believed in what was revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you?)

Quran V4:60

أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّهُمْ آمَنُوا بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَتَحَاكَمُوا إِلَى الطَّاغُوتِ وَقَدْ أُمِرُوا أَن يَكْفُرُوا بِهِ وَيُرِيدُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَن يُضِلَّهُمْ ضَلَالًا بَعِيدًا.60

ونزل لما اختصم يهودي ومنافق فدعا المنافق إلى كعب بن الأشرف ليحكم بينهما ودعا اليهودي إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فأتياه فقضى لليهودي فلم يرض المنافق وأتيا عمر فذكر اليهودي ذلك فقال للمنافق أكذلك فقال نعم فقتله { ألم ترَ إلى الذين يزعمون أنهم آمنوا بما أنزل إليك وما أُنزل من قبلك يريدون أن يتحاكموا إلى الطاغوت } الكثير الطغيان وهو كعب بن الأشرف { وقد أمروا أن يكفروا به } ولا يوالوه { ويريد الشيطان أن يضلَّهم ضلالا بعيدا } عن الحق .

And he descended when a Jew and a hypocrite had a dispute. The hypocrite called for Ka’b ibn al-Ashraf to judge between them, and he called for the Jew to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. So they went to him, and he ruled in favor of the Jew. 

But the hypocrite was not satisfied, and they went to Umar. The Jew mentioned that, and he said to the hypocrite, “Is that so?” He said, “Yes.” So he killed him. {Have you not seen those who claim to have believed in what was revealed to you and what was revealed before you? They wish to refer their disputes to the false deity} who is very tyrannical, and that is Ka’b ibn al-Ashraf. {While they were commanded to disbelieve in him} and not to befriend him. {And Satan wishes to lead them far astray} from the truth.

English Quran V4:60

Have you not seen those who claim to have believed in what was revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you? They wish to refer legislation to Taghut, while they were commanded to reject it; and Satan wishes to lead them far astray.

क्या तुमने उन लोगों को नहीं देखा, जो दावा तो करते है कि वे उस चीज़ पर ईमान रखते हैं, जो तुम्हारी ओर उतारी गई है और तुमसे पहले उतारी गई है। और चाहते है कि अपना मामला ताग़ूत के पास ले जाकर फ़ैसला कराएँ, जबकि उन्हें हुक्म दिया गया है कि वे उसका इनकार करें? परन्तु शैतान तो उन्हें भटकाकर बहुत दूर डाल देना चाहता है|

あなたは，かのあなたに下されたもの，およびあなた以前に下されたものを信じると，ただロ走っている者たちを見なかったのか。かれらは邪神を拒むよう，命じられているにも拘らず，その（争議の）裁定のため，互いに邪神に頼ろうと望んでいる。また悪魔は，かれらが（正道から）遠く迷い去るように導こうと望んでいる。

Do you not see those who claim to believe in what has been revealed to you and what was revealed before you? They want to seek judgment from the false gods, while they have been commanded to disbelieve in them. Satan wants to lead them astray completely from the path.

 (As was mentioned earlier, the false gods are the rulings of Allah without His permission. The hypocrites do not want the ruling of Allah either, so they seek judgment from the false gods. Whatever happens, if there is no ruling from Allah, then so be it. 

They seek the ruling of any false gods. They do not do this blindly, but it has been made clear to them. The hypocrites have been commanded to disbelieve in the false gods, so they do it knowingly. Therefore, their claim to faith is false. They have followed the path of Satan.)]
