Quran Surat An-Nisa (Women) 4- Verse:15-16 (As for those of your women who are guilty of lewdness, call to witness four of you against them. )
وَاللَّاتِي يَأْتِينَ الْفَاحِشَةَ مِن نِّسَائِكُمْ فَاسْتَشْهِدُوا عَلَيْهِنَّ أَرْبَعَةً مِّنكُمْ ۖ فَإِن شَهِدُوا فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ فِي الْبُيُوتِ حَتَّىٰ يَتَوَفَّاهُنَّ الْمَوْتُ أَوْ يَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ لَهُنَّ سَبِيلًا[15]وَاللَّذَانِ يَأْتِيَانِهَا مِنكُمْ فَآذُوهُمَا ۖ فَإِن تَابَا وَأَصْلَحَا فَأَعْرِضُوا عَنْهُمَا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ تَوَّابًا رَّحِيمًا[16]
[( واللاتي يأتين الفاحشة ) الزنا ( من نسائكم فاستشهدوا عليهن أربعة منكم ) أي من رجالكم المسلمين ( فإن شهدوا ) عليهن بها ( فأمسكوهن ) احبسوهن ( في البيوت ) وامنعوهن من مخالطة الناس ( حتى يتوفاهن الموت ) أي ملائكته ( أو ) إلى أن ( يجعل الله لهن سبيلا ) طريقا إلى الخروج منها أمروا بذلك أول الإسلام ثم جعل لهن سبيلا بجلد البكر مائة وتغريبها عاما ورجم المحصنة ، وفي الحديث لما بين الحد قال "" خذوا عني خذوا عني قد جعل الله لهن سبيلا "" رواه مسلم .
{ وَاًلَّلذّانِ } بتخفيف النون وتشديدها { يأتيانها } أي الفاحشة الزنا أو اللواط { منكم } أي الرجال { فآذوهما } بالسب والضرب بالنعال { فإن تابا } منها { وأصلحا } العمل { فأعرضوا عنهما } ولا تؤذوهما { إن الله كان توَّابا } على من تاب { رحيما } به وهذا منسوخ بالحد إن أريد بها الزنا وكذا إن أريد بها اللواط عن الشافعي لكن المفعول به لا يرجم عنده وإن كان محصنا بل يجلد ويغرب وإرادةُ اللواط أظهر بدليل تثنية الضمير والأول أراد الزاني والزانية ويرده تبيينهما بمن المتصلة بضمير الرجال واشتراكهما في الأذى والتوبة والإعراض وهو مخصوص بالرجال لما تقدم في النساء من الحبس .]
[[And those of your women who commit adultery, call upon four witnesses from among you (i.e., from among your Muslim men). If they testify against them, then confine them to their homes and prevent them from mixing with people until death takes them (i.e., until Allah ordains for them a way out). They were commanded to do this at the beginning of Islam, then Allah ordained a way out for them by flogging the unmarried woman one hundred times and banishing her for a year, and stoning the married woman. {But if they repent} from it {and amend} the action, {then leave them alone} and do not harm them. {Indeed, Allah is ever Accepting of repentance} for those who repent, {and Merciful} to them. This is abrogated by the hadd (HADD) punishment if it is intended to refer to adultery, and likewise if it is intended to refer to sodomy, according to Al-Shafi'i.

And as for the two of you who are guilty thereof, punish them both. And if they repent and improve, then let them be. Lo! Allah is ever relenting, Merciful.[16]

और वह उसमें हमेशा अपना किया भुगतता रहेगा और उसके लिए बड़ी रूसवाई का अज़ाब है और तुम्हारी औरतों में से जो औरतें बदकारी करें तो उनकी बदकारी पर अपने लोगों में से चार गवाही लो और फिर अगर चारों गवाह उसकी तसदीक़ करें तो (उसकी सज़ा ये है कि) उनको घरों में बन्द रखो यहाँ तक कि मौत आ जाए या ख़ुदा उनकी कोई (दूसरी) राह निकाले (15)
और तुम लोगों में से जिनसे बदकारी सरज़द हुयी हो उनको मारो पीटो फिर अगर वह दोनों (अपनी हरकत से) तौबा करें और इस्लाह कर लें तो उनको छोड़ दो बेशक ख़ुदा बड़ा तौबा कुबूल करने वाला मेहरबान है (16)
