Quran Surat An-Nisa (Women) 4- Verse:15-16 (As for those of your women who are guilty of lewdness, call to witness four of you against them. )

Quran V4:15-16

وَاللَّاتِي يَأْتِينَ الْفَاحِشَةَ مِن نِّسَائِكُمْ فَاسْتَشْهِدُوا عَلَيْهِنَّ أَرْبَعَةً مِّنكُمْ ۖ فَإِن شَهِدُوا فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ فِي الْبُيُوتِ حَتَّىٰ يَتَوَفَّاهُنَّ الْمَوْتُ أَوْ يَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ لَهُنَّ سَبِيلًا[15]وَاللَّذَانِ يَأْتِيَانِهَا مِنكُمْ فَآذُوهُمَا ۖ فَإِن تَابَا وَأَصْلَحَا فَأَعْرِضُوا عَنْهُمَا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ تَوَّابًا رَّحِيمًا[16]

[( واللاتي يأتين الفاحشة ) الزنا ( من نسائكم فاستشهدوا عليهن أربعة منكم ) أي من رجالكم المسلمين ( فإن شهدوا ) عليهن بها ( فأمسكوهن ) احبسوهن ( في البيوت ) وامنعوهن من مخالطة الناس ( حتى يتوفاهن الموت ) أي ملائكته ( أو ) إلى أن ( يجعل الله لهن سبيلا ) طريقا إلى الخروج منها أمروا بذلك أول الإسلام ثم جعل لهن سبيلا بجلد البكر مائة وتغريبها عاما ورجم المحصنة ، وفي الحديث لما بين الحد قال "" خذوا عني خذوا عني قد جعل الله لهن سبيلا "" رواه مسلم .

{ وَاًلَّلذّانِ } بتخفيف النون وتشديدها { يأتيانها } أي الفاحشة الزنا أو اللواط { منكم } أي الرجال { فآذوهما } بالسب والضرب بالنعال { فإن تابا } منها { وأصلحا } العمل { فأعرضوا عنهما } ولا تؤذوهما { إن الله كان توَّابا } على من تاب { رحيما } به وهذا منسوخ بالحد إن أريد بها الزنا وكذا إن أريد بها اللواط عن الشافعي لكن المفعول به لا يرجم عنده وإن كان محصنا بل يجلد ويغرب وإرادةُ اللواط أظهر بدليل تثنية الضمير والأول أراد الزاني والزانية ويرده تبيينهما بمن المتصلة بضمير الرجال واشتراكهما في الأذى والتوبة والإعراض وهو مخصوص بالرجال لما تقدم في النساء من الحبس .]

[[And those of your women who commit adultery, call upon four witnesses from among you (i.e., from among your Muslim men). If they testify against them, then confine them to their homes and prevent them from mixing with people until death takes them (i.e., until Allah ordains for them a way out). They were commanded to do this at the beginning of Islam, then Allah ordained a way out for them by flogging the unmarried woman one hundred times and banishing her for a year, and stoning the married woman. In the hadith, when he explained the punishment, he said, "Take from me, take from me, for Allah has ordained a way out for them." Narrated by Muslim.]

(And those of your women who commit adultery, call upon four witnesses from among you (i.e., from among your Muslim men). If they testify against them, then confine them to their homes and prevent them from mixing with people until death takes them (i.e., until the angels of death take them), or until Allah ordains for them a way out. {And those two} with the nun being light or heavy {commit it} meaning the shameful act of adultery or sodomy {among you} meaning men {then punish them} by insulting them and striking them with sandals.

         {But if they repent} from it {and amend} the action, {then leave them alone} and do not harm them. {Indeed, Allah is ever Accepting of repentance} for those who repent, {and Merciful} to them. This is abrogated by the hadd (HADD) punishment if it is intended to refer to adultery, and likewise if it is intended to refer to sodomy, according to Al-Shafi'i.   

             However, the one who is the object of the action is not stoned according to him, even if he is married, but rather he is flogged and exiled. The intention of sodomy is more apparent, as evidenced by the dual pronoun. The first one intended the adulterer and the adulteress, and this is refuted by clarifying them with the pronoun connected to the men's pronoun and their shared punishment, repentance, and leaving them alone. This is specific to men because of what was mentioned earlier regarding women regarding imprisonment.]++

English Quran V4:15-16

As for those of your women who are guilty of lewdness, call to witness four of you against them. And if they testify (to the truth of the allegation) then confine them to the houses until death take them or (until) Allah appoint for them a way (through new legislation). [15]

And as for the two of you who are guilty thereof, punish them both. And if they repent and improve, then let them be. Lo! Allah is ever relenting, Merciful.[16]

Quanto àquelas, dentre vossas mulheres, que tenham incorrido em adultério, apelai para quatro testemunhas, dentre osvossos e, se estas o confirmarem, confinai-as em suas casas, até que lhes chegue a morte ou que Deus lhes trace um novodestino. [15]

E àqueles, dentre vós, que o cometerem (homens e mulheres), puni-os; porém, caso se arrependam e se corrijam,deixai-os tranqüilos, porque Deus é Remissório, Misericordiosíssimo.[16]

Spanish

.Llamad a cuatro testigos de vosotros contra aquéllas de vuestras mujeres que cometan deshonestidad. Si atestiguan, recluidlas en casa hasta que mueran o hasta que Alá les procure una salida. [15]

Si dos de los vuestros la cometen, castigad a ambos severamente. Pero, si se arrepienten y enmiendan, dejadles en paz. Alá es indulgente, misericordioso.[16]

OM NÅGON av era kvinnor begår en grovt oanständig handling, tillkalla då fyra bland dem av er som har bevittnat handlingen, och om de vittnar [att de har sett den], stäng då in henne i hennes hem till dess döden befriar henne eller Gud visar henne en väg. [15]

Om två begått en sådan handling, straffa dem båda. Men lämna dem i fred, om de ångrar sin handling och bättrar sig. Gud tar i Sin barmhärtighet emot den ångerfulles ånger.[16]

Против тех из ваших женщин, которые совершат мерзкий поступок (прелюбодеяние), призовите в свидетели четырех из вас. Если они засвидетельствуют это, то держите их в домах, пока их не упокоит смерть или пока Аллах не установит для них иной путь. [15]

Если двое из вас совершат такой поступок (прелюбодеяние), то подвергните обоих наказанию. Если они раскаются и станут поступать праведно, то оставьте их, ведь Аллах - Принимающий покаяния, Милосердный.[16]

আর তোমাদের নারীদের মধ্যে যারা ব্যভিচারিণী তাদের বিরুদ্ধে তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে চার জন পুরুষকে সাক্ষী হিসেবে তলব কর। অতঃপর যদি তারা সাক্ষ্য প্রদান করে তবে সংশ্লিষ্টদেরকে গৃহে আবদ্ধ রাখ, যে পর্যন্ত মৃত্যু তাদেরকে তুলে না নেয় অথবা আল্লাহ তাদের জন্য অন্য কোন পথ নির্দেশ না করেন। [15]

তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে যে দু’জন সেই কুকর্মে লিপ্ত হয়, তাদেরকে শাস্তি প্রদান কর। অতঃপর যদি উভয়ে তওবা করে এবং নিজেদের সংশোধন করে, তবে তাদের থেকে হাত গুটিয়ে নাও। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তওবা কবুলকারী, দয়ালু।[16]

Hindi Quran V4:15-16

और वह उसमें हमेशा अपना किया भुगतता रहेगा और उसके लिए बड़ी रूसवाई का अज़ाब है और तुम्हारी औरतों में से जो औरतें बदकारी करें तो उनकी बदकारी पर अपने लोगों में से चार गवाही लो और फिर अगर चारों गवाह उसकी तसदीक़ करें तो (उसकी सज़ा ये है कि) उनको घरों में बन्द रखो यहाँ तक कि मौत आ जाए या ख़ुदा उनकी कोई (दूसरी) राह निकाले (15)
और तुम लोगों में से जिनसे बदकारी सरज़द हुयी हो उनको मारो पीटो फिर अगर वह दोनों (अपनी हरकत से) तौबा करें और इस्लाह कर लें तो उनको छोड़ दो बेशक ख़ुदा बड़ा तौबा कुबूल करने वाला मेहरबान है (16)

Chinese Quran V4:15-16

你們的婦女，若作醜事，你們當在你們的男人中尋求四個人作見証；如果他們已作見証，你們就應當把她們拘留在家裡，直到她們死亡，或真主為她們開辟一條出路。 [15]

你們的男人，若作醜事，你們應當責備他們倆；如果他們倆侮罪自新，你們就應當原諒他們倆。真主確是至宥的，確是至慈的。[16]

あなたがたの女たちの中，不貞を働いた者には，あなたがたの中から，かの女らに対し4名の証人を立てなさい。かれらがもしこれを証言したならば，かの女らを家の中に監禁しなさい。死がかの女らを連れ去るか，アッラーがかの女らのため，（別の）道を決められるまで。 [15]

あなたがたの中2人で罪を犯した者は（2人とも）処罰しなさい。だが，その罪を悔いて身を修めるならば，そのままに放って置け。本当にアッラーは，度々御赦しなされる方，慈悲深い方であられる。[16]

너희 여인들 가운데 간음한자 있다면 네명의 증인을 세우 고 만일 여인들이 인정할 경우 그여인들은 죽을 때까지 집안에 감 금되거나 아니면 하나님께서 다른방법으로 그 여인들에게 명할 것 이라 [15]

너희 가운데 두명이 간음했다면 그 둘을 함께 벌할 것이되 그들이 회개하고 개선한다면 그대로 두라 실로 하나님은 관용과 자비로 충만하시니라 [16]

He commanded Muslims to distance themselves from this vice and to take appropriate measures against anyone who touches this prostitute.)

Harass two men among you who have committed the same act. If they both repent and mend their ways, then leave them alone. Indeed, Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.
