 Quran V2:83

وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ لَا تَعْبُدُونَ إِلَّا اللَّهَ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَذِي الْقُرْبَىٰ وَالْيَتَامَىٰ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَقُولُوا لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا مِّنكُمْ وَأَنتُم مُّعْرِضُونَ[83]

[{ و } اذكر { إذ أخذنا ميثاق بني إسرائيل } في التوراة وقلنا { لا تعبدون } بالتاء والياء { إلا الله } خبر بمعنى النهي، وقرئ: لا تعبدوا { و } أحسنوا { بالوالدين إحساناً } براً { وذي القربى } القرابة عطف على الوالدين { واليتامى والمساكين وقولوا للناس } قولا { حسناً } من الأمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر والصدق في شأن محمد والرفق بهم، وفي قراءة بضم الحاء وسكون السين مصدر وصف به مبالغة { وأقيموا الصلاة وآتوا الزكاة } فقبلتم ذلك { ثم تولَّيتم } أعرضتم عن الوفاء به، فيه التفات عن الغيبة والمراد آباؤهم { إلا قليلا منكم وأنتم معرضون } عنه كآبائكم.]

[And remember when We took the covenant of the Children of Israel in the Torah and said, “You shall not worship except God,” with the letter “ta” and the letter “ya.” This is a statement with the meaning of prohibition. It was also recited: “You shall not worship except God.”

 And be kind to parents, with kindness, and to relatives, and to orphans and the needy. And speak to people good words, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and being truthful about Muhammad, and being gentle with them.

 In one reading, with the letter “ha” pronounced with a dammah and the letter “sin” silent, it is a verbal noun used to describe something of great importance. “And establish prayer and give zakat,” and you accepted that. Then you turned away, and you turned away from fulfilling it. This is a shift from the third person, and what is meant is their fathers, except for a few of you, and you are turning away from it like your fathers.]

English Quran V2:83

And (remember) when We took a covenant from the Children of Israel, (saying): Worship none but Allah (Alone) and be dutiful and good to parents, and to kindred, and to orphans and Al-Masakin (the poor), [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 10, Page 158 (Verse 9:60)] and speak good to people [i.e. enjoin righteousness and forbid evil, and say the truth about Muhammad Peace be upon him ], and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat. Then you slid back, except a few of you, while you are backsliders. (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 2, Page 392).

যখন আমি বনী-ইসরাঈলের কাছ থেকে অঙ্গীকার নিলাম যে, তোমরা আল্লাহ ছাড়া কারও উপাসনা করবে না, পিতা-মাতা, আত্নীয়-স্বজন, এতীম ও দীন-দরিদ্রদের সাথে সদ্ব্যবহার করবে, মানুষকে সৎ কথাবার্তা বলবে, নামায প্রতিষ্ঠা করবে এবং যাকাত দেবে, তখন সামান্য কয়েকজন ছাড়া তোমরা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিলে, তোমরাই অগ্রাহ্যকারী।

Hindi Quran V2:83

और (वह वक़्त याद करो) जब हमने बनी ईसराइल से (जो तुम्हारे बुजुर्ग थे) अहद व पैमान लिया था कि अल्लाह के सिवा किसी की इबादत न करना और माँ बाप और क़राबतदारों और यतीमों और मोहताजों के साथ अच्छे सुलूक करना और लोगों के साथ अच्छी तरह (नरमी) से बातें करना और बराबर नमाज़ पढ़ना और ज़कात देना फिर तुममें से थोड़े आदमियों के सिवा (सब के सब) फिर गए और तुम लोग हो ही इक़रार से मुँह फेरने वाले (83)

ଏବଂ (ସେହି ସମୟକୁ ମନେ ପକାଅ) ଯେତେବେଳେ ଆମେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ (ତୁମର ବୃଦ୍ଧଗଣ)ଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଏକ ଚୁକ୍ତି ନେଇଥିଲୁ ଯେ ସେମାନେ କେବଳ ଆଲ୍ଲାହଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟତୀତ ଆଉ କାହାକୁ ପୂଜା କରିବେ ନାହିଁ, ପିତାମାତା, ସମ୍ପର୍କୀୟ, ଅନାଥ ଏବଂ ଦରିଦ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଦୟାଳୁ ହେବେ, ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଭଲ ଭାବରେ କଥା ହେବେ, ନିୟମିତ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବେ ଏବଂ ଜାକାତ ଦେବେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଅଳ୍ପ କେତେକଙ୍କୁ ଛାଡ଼ି ତୁମେ ସମସ୍ତେ ମୁହଁ ଫେରାଇ ନେଇଥିଲ ଏବଂ ତୁମେ ହିଁ ପ୍ରତିଶ୍ରୁତିରୁ ମୁହଁ ଫେରାଇ ନେଉଛ। (୮୩)

われがイスラエルの子孫と，約束を結んだ時のことを思い起せ。（その時われは言った。）「あなたがたはアッラーの外に，何ものも崇めてはならない。父母に孝養をつくし，近親，孤児，貧者を規切に扱い，人びとに善い言葉で話し，礼拝の務めを守り，定めの喜捨をしなさい。」だが，あなたがたの中少数の者を除き，背き去った。 (83)
