Quran Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow) 2iii- Verse-256 (There is No Compulsion in Religion. Indeed, Truth Distinguishes from Falsehood)
Quran V2:256
[There is no compulsion in religion. Righteousness has become distinct from error. That is, it has become clear through the clear signs that faith is righteousness and disbelief is error. It was revealed concerning those among the Ansar who had children whom they wanted to force into Islam. So whoever disbelieves in false deities (i.e., Satan or idols, and this applies to both singular and plural) and believes in Allah has grasped the firmest handhold with no break in it. And Allah is All-Hearing of what is said and All-Knowing of what is done.]++

[++ Translated from Uzbek
There is no compulsion in religion. Indeed, truth distinguishes from falsehood. Whoever disbelieves in the false gods and believes in Allah, has grasped the most firm handhold that will not break. And Allah is the Hearing, the Knowing.
(Indeed, the issue of faith is a very delicate matter that depends on the human heart. It cannot be forced or instilled by force. Rather, the goal will be achieved only when each person understands and believes in what has been explained. This rule is strictly adhered to in Islam.
Allah Almighty Himself has said, “There is no compulsion in religion. Indeed, truth distinguishes from falsehood.” That is, after Allah Almighty revealed the Holy Quran to His Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and introduced Islam, He distinguished the right path from the wrong, truth from falsehood. Everything found its place. After that, “There is no compulsion in religion.” Let everyone whom Allah has given reason choose the path that is right for him.)]
