Quran Surat Ale- Imran 3iv- Verse:187 ( Allah took a covenant from those to whom the Scripture was given, saying, "Make it clear to the people and do not conceal it.")

Quran V3:187

وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثَاقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَكْتُمُونَهُ فَنَبَذُوهُ وَرَاءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ وَاشْتَرَوْا بِهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا ۖ فَبِئْسَ مَا يَشْتَرُونَ

{ و } اذكر { إذ أخذ الله ميثاق الذين أوتوا الكتاب } أي العهد عليهم في التوراة { لَيُبَيِّنَنَّهُ } أي الكتاب { للناس ولا يكتمونه } أي الكتاب بالياء والتاء في الفعلين { فنبذوه } طرحوا الميثاق { وراء ظهورهم } فلم يعملوا به { واشتروا به } أخذوا بدله { ثمنا قليلا } من الدنيا من سفلتهم برياستهم في العلم فكتموه خوف فوته عليهم { فبئس ما يشترون } شراؤهم هذا .

Sahih International

And [mention, O Muhammad], when Allah took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture, [saying], "You must make it clear to the people and not conceal it." But they threw it away behind their backs and exchanged it for a small price. And wretched is that which they purchased.

English Quran V3:187

(And remember) when Allah took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) to make it (the news of the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW and the religious knowledge) known and clear to mankind, and not to hide it, but they threw it away behind their backs, and purchased with it some miserable gain! And indeed worst is that which they bought.

और (ऐ रसूल) इनको वह वक़्त तो याद दिलाओ जब ख़ुदा ने एहले किताब से एहद व पैमान लिया था कि तुम किताबे ख़ुदा को साफ़ साफ़ बयान कर देना और (ख़बरदार) उसकी कोई बात छुपाना नहीं मगर इन लोगों ने (ज़रा भी ख़्याल न किया) और उनको बसे पुश्त फेंक दिया और उसके बदले में (बस) थोड़ी सी क़ीमत हासिल कर ली बस ये क्या ही बुरा (सौदा) है जो ये लोग ख़रीद रहे हैं (187)

ଏବଂ (ହେ ପୟଗମ୍ବର), ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେହି ସମୟର କଥା ମନେ ପକାଇଦିଅ ଯେତେବେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ପୁସ୍ତକଧାରୀଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଏକ ଚୁକ୍ତି ନେଇଥିଲେ, କହିଥିଲେ, "ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ର ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ କର ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଗୋଟିଏ କଥା ମଧ୍ୟ ଲୁଚାଇ ରଖ ନାହିଁ।" କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହି ଲୋକମାନେ ଏହାକୁ ବିଚାର କଲେ ନାହିଁ ଏବଂ ଏହାକୁ ଫୋପାଡ଼ି ଦେଲେ ଏବଂ ଏହାର ବଦଳରେ କେବଳ ଏକ ଛୋଟ ମୂଲ୍ୟ ପାଇଲେ। ସେମାନେ କି ମନ୍ଦ ସୌଦା କିଣୁଛନ୍ତି। (187)
