Quran Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow) 2ii- Verse-189 (The New Moons are Measurements of Time for the People and for Hajj)
يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْأَهِلَّةِ ۖ قُلْ هِيَ مَوَاقِيتُ لِلنَّاسِ وَالْحَجِّ ۗ وَلَيْسَ الْبِرُّ بِأَن تَأْتُوا الْبُيُوتَ مِن ظُهُورِهَا وَلَٰكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنِ اتَّقَىٰ ۗ وَأْتُوا الْبُيُوتَ مِنْ أَبْوَابِهَا ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ [189]
[{ يسألونك } يا محمد { عن الأهلة } جمع هلال لمَ تبدو دقيقة ثم تزيد حتى تمتلئ نورا ثم تعود كما بدت ولا تكون على حالة واحدة كالشمس { قل } لهم { هي مواقيت } جمع ميقات { للناس } يعلمون بها أوقات زرعهم ومتاجرهم وعُدد نسائهم وصيامهم وإفطارهم { والحج } عطف على الناس أي يعلم بها وقته فلو استمرت على حالة لم يعرف ذلك { وليس البر بأن تأتوا البيوت من ظهورها } في الإحرام كغيره بأن تنقبوا فيها نقبا تدخلون منه وتخرجون وتتركوا الباب وكانوا يفعلون ذلك ويزعمونه برّا { ولكنَّ البرَّ } أي ذا البِر { من اتقى } الله بترك مخالفته { وأتوا البيوت من أبوابها } في الإحرام { واتقوا الله لعلكم تفلحون } تفوزون .]
[{They ask you} O Muhammad {about the new moons} why they appear thin, then increase until they are full of light, then return to how they appeared, and are not in one state like the sun. {Say} to them {They are appointed times} the plural of appointed time {for the people} by which they know the times of their planting, their trade, the waiting period of their wives, their fasting and breaking of the fast {and the Hajj} which is connected to the people, meaning that its time is known by it, for if it continued in one state, that would not be known.
{And it is not righteousness to enter houses from their back} in the state of Ihram, as in other matters, by making a hole in them through which you enter and exit, leaving the door open. They used to do that and claim it was righteousness. {But righteousness} meaning the one who is righteous {is he who fears} Allah by not disobeying Him. {And enter houses through their doors} in the state of Ihram. {And fear Allah that you may be successful} that you may triumph.]++
They ask you (O Muhammad SAW) about the new moons. Say: These are signs to mark fixed periods of time for mankind and for the pilgrimage. It is not Al-Birr (piety, righteousness, etc.) that you enter the houses from the back but Al-Birr (is the quality of the one) who fears Allah. So enter houses through their proper doors, and fear Allah that you may be successful. Sie fragen dich nach den Jungmonden. Sag: Sie sind festgesetzte Zeiten für die Menschen und für die Pilgerfahrt. Und nicht darin besteht die Frömmigkeit, daß ihr von der Rückseite in die Häuser kommt. Frömmigkeit besteht vielmehr darin, daß man gottesfürchtig ist. So kommt durch die Türen in die Häuser und fürchtet Allah, auf daß es euch wohl ergehen möge! Interrogar-te-ão sobre os novilúnios. Dize-lhes: Servem para auxiliar o homem no cômputo do tempo e noconhecimento da época da peregrinação. A virtude não consiste em que entreis nas casas pela porta traseira; a verdadeiravirtude é a de quem teme a Deus, para que prospereis.

La piedad no estriba en que entréis en casa por detrás. sino en que temáis a Alá. ¡Entrad en casa por la puerta y temed a Alá! Quizás, así prosperéis. DE FRÅGAR dig om innebörden av månens nytändning. Säg: "Den visar människorna tidpunkten då [vissa skyldigheter skall fullgöras] och [tiden för] vallfärden." Det är inte fromhet att stiga in i ett hus genom [en dörr på] dess baksida; nej, fromhet visar den som fruktar Gud. Stig därför in i husen genom [den främre] dörren och frukta Gud - kanske skall det gå er väl i händer. Они спрашивают тебя о новолуниях. Скажи: "Они определяют промежутки времени для людей и хаджа. Благочестие не в том, чтобы вы входили в дома с их задней стороны. Но благочестив тот, кто богобоязнен. Входите в дома через двери и бойтесь Аллаха, - быть может, вы окажетесь преуспевшими.তোমার নিকট তারা জিজ্ঞেস করে নতুন চাঁদের বিষয়ে। বলে দাও যে এটি মানুষের জন্য সময় নির্ধারণ এবং হজ্বের সময় ঠিক করার মাধ্যম। আর পেছনের দিক দিয়ে ঘরে প্রবেশ করার মধ্যে কোন নেকী বা কল্যাণ নেই। অবশ্য নেকী হল আল্লাহকে ভয় করার মধ্যে। আর তোমরা ঘরে প্রবেশ কর দরজা দিয়ে এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় করতে থাক যাতে তোমরা নিজেদের বাসনায় কৃতকার্য হতে পার।
(ऐ रसूल) तुम से लोग चाँद के बारे में पूछते हैं (कि क्यो घटता बढ़ता है) तुम कह दो कि इससे लोगों के (दुनयावी) अम्र और हज के अवक़ात मालूम होते है और ये कोई भली बात नही है कि घरो में पिछवाड़े से फाँद के) आओ बल्कि नेकी उसकी है जो परहेज़गारी करे और घरों में आना हो तो) उनके दरवाजो़ं की तरफ से आओ और अल्लाह से डरते रहो ताकि तुम मुराद को पहुँचो (189)

(ହେ ନବିଶ) ଲୋକମାନେ ତୁମକୁ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ବିଷୟରେ ପଚାରନ୍ତି (ଏହା କାହିଁକି କମ ହୁଏ ଏବଂ କମ ହୁଏ)। କୁହ: ଏହା ଲୋକଙ୍କ (ସାଂସାରିକ) ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଏବଂ ହଜ୍ ର ସମୟ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରେ। ପଛପଟରୁ ଘରକୁ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବା ପୁଣ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ପୁଣ୍ୟ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଧାର୍ମିକ। ଏବଂ ଯଦି ତୁମକୁ ଘରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବାକୁ ପଡ଼େ, ତେବେ ଦ୍ୱାର ଦେଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଯାଅ। ଆଲ୍ଲାହଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କର ଯାହା ଦ୍ଵାରା ତୁମେ ତୁମର ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ହାସଲ କରିପାରିବ। (୧୮୯)
