Quran Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow) 2ii- Verse-190  (Fight in the Way of Allah Against Those Who Fight Against You, But Begin Not Hostilities)        

Quran V2:190

وَقَاتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ الَّذِينَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ وَلَا تَعْتَدُوا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ[190]

[ولما صُدَّ محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم عن البيت عام الحديبية وصالح الكفار على أن يعود العام القابل ويُخلوا له مكة ثلاثة أيام وتجهز لعمرة القضاء وخافوا أن لا تفي قريش ويقاتلوهم وكره المسلمون قتالهم في الحرم والإحرام والشهر الحرام نزل { وقاتلوا في سبيل الله } أي لإعلاء دينه { الذين يقاتلونكم } الكفار { ولا تعتدوا } عليهم بالابتداء بالقتال { إن الله لا يحب المعتدين } المتجاوزين ما حد لهم وهذا منسوخ بآية براءة أو بقوله .]

[When Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, was prevented from entering the House in the year of Hudaybiyyah, he made peace with the disbelievers on the condition that he would return the following year and that they would leave Mecca for him for three days, and he would prepare for the Umrah of Qada’, and they feared that the Quraysh would not fulfill their promise and would fight them, and the Muslims disliked fighting them in the sanctuary, during the state of Ihram, and in the sacred month, the verse was revealed:..

 {Fight in the way of God} meaning to exalt His religion {those who fight you} the disbelievers {but do not transgress} against them by initiating the fighting {Indeed, God does not like transgressors} those who exceed what has been set for them. This is abrogated by the verse of Bara’ah or by His saying.]

English Quran V2: 190 

And fight in the Way of Allah those who fight you, but transgress not the limits. Truly, Allah likes not the transgressors. [This Verse is the first one that was revealed in connection with Jihad, but it was supplemented by another (V.9:36)].

Сражайтесь на пути Аллаха с теми, кто сражается против вас, но не преступайте границы дозволенного. Воистину, Аллах не любит преступников.
