Quran Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow) 2 -Verse-75 ( Faith requires a certain degree of Purity, Clarity, and the Ability to receive Light)
أَفَتَطْمَعُونَ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا لَكُمْ وَقَدْ كَانَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ كَلَامَ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُحَرِّفُونَهُ مِن بَعْدِ مَا عَقَلُوهُ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ[75]
[{ أفتطعمون } أيها المؤمنون { أن يؤمنوا لكم } أي اليهود لكم. { وقد كان فريق } طائفة { منهم } أحبارهم { يسمعون كلام الله } في التوراة { ثم يحرّفونه } يغيرونه { من بعد ما عقلوه } فهموه { وهم يعلمون } أنهم مفترون والهمزة للإنكار أي لا تطمعوا فلهم سابقة بالكفر .]
[{Do you expect} O believers {that they will believe in you} meaning the Jews? {While a group of them} a sect {their rabbis} {hear the word of Allah} in the Torah {then distort it} change it {after they have understood it} they know that they are fabricating it. The hamza is for denial, meaning do not expect it, for they have a history of disbelief.]

(मुसलमानों) क्या तुम ये लालच रखते हो कि वह तुम्हारा (सा) ईमान लाएँगें हालाँकि उनमें का एक गिरोह साबिक़ में (पहले) ऐसा था कि अल्लाह का कलाम सुनता था और अच्छी तरह समझने के बाद उलट फेर कर देता था हालाँकि वह खू़ब जानते थे और जब उन लोगों से मुलाक़ात करते हैं (75)

(ମୁସଲମାନମାନେ) ତୁମେ କ’ଣ ଚାହୁଁଛ ଯେ ସେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ତୁମ ପରି ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିବେ, ଯେତେବେଳେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଏକ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ଆଲ୍ଲାହର ବାକ୍ୟ ଶୁଣୁଥିଲେ ଏବଂ ଏହାକୁ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ଭାବରେ ବୁଝିବା ପରେ ଏହାକୁ ବିକୃତ କରୁଥିଲେ, ଯଦିଓ ସେମାନେ ଏହାକୁ ଭଲ ଭାବରେ ଜାଣିଥିଲେ? ଏବଂ ଯେତେବେଳେ ତୁମେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟିବ? (୭୫)
