Quran Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow) 2 -Verse 53-54
( Favour of Allah on Children of Israel) -vi
وَإِذْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ
وَالْفُرْقَانَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ[53]
وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ إِنَّكُمْ ظَلَمْتُمْ أَنفُسَكُم بِاتِّخَاذِكُمُ الْعِجْلَ فَتُوبُوا إِلَىٰ
بَارِئِكُمْ فَاقْتُلُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ عِندَ بَارِئِكُمْ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ
الرَّحِيمُ[54]
[{ وإذ آتينا موسى الكتاب } التوراة { والفرقان } عطف تفسير، أي الفارق بين الحق والباطل والحلال والحرام { لعلكم تهتدون } به من الضلال .
{ وإذ قال موسى لقومه } الذين عبدوا العجل { يا قوم إنكم ظلمتم أنفسكم باتخاذكم العجل } إلهاً { فتوبوا إلى بارئكم } خالقكم من عبادته { فاقتلوا أنفسكم } أي ليقتل البريءُ منكم المجرم { ذلكم } القتل { خير لكم عند بارئكم } فوفقكم لفعل ذلك وأرسل عليكم سحابة سوداء لئلا يبصر بعضكم بعضا فيرحمه حتى قتل منكم نحو سبعين ألفا { فتاب عليكم } قبل توبتكم { أنه هو التواب الرحيم } .]
[And when We gave Moses the Scripture (the Torah) and the Criterion (the Quran), meaning the distinction between truth and falsehood, and between what is lawful and unlawful, so that you might be guided by it from misguidance.
And when Moses said to his people, who worshipped the calf, “O my people, you have wronged yourselves by taking the calf as a god. So repent to your Creator and kill yourselves (i.e., let the innocent among you kill the guilty). That is better for you in the sight of your Creator.” So He enabled you to do that and sent a black cloud over you so that you would not see one another and have mercy on each other, until about seventy thousand of you were killed. Then He accepted your repentance before you did. Indeed, He is the Accepting of Repentance, the Merciful.]

And (remember) when We gave Musa (Moses) the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah)] and the criterion (of right and wrong) so that you may be guided aright.[53]And (remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his people: "O my people! Verily, you have wronged yourselves by worshipping the calf. So turn in repentance to your Creator and kill yourselves (the innocent kill the wrongdoers among you), that will be better for you with your Lord." Then He accepted your repentance. Truly, He is the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.[54]
French Quran V2:53-54
Et [rappelez-vous], lorsque Nous avons donné à Moïse le Livre et le Discernement afin que vous soyez guidés.[53]Et [rappelez-vous], lorsque Moïse dit à son peuple : "ô mon peuple, certes vous vous êtes fait du tort à vous-mêmes en prenant le Veau pour idole. Revenez donc à votre Créateur; puis, tuez donc les coupables vous-mêmes : ce serait mieux pour vous, auprès de votre Créateur" ! ... C'est ainsi qu'Il agréa votre repentir; car c'est Lui, certes, le Repentant et le Miséricordieux ![54]

E de quando concedemos a Moisés o Livro e o Discernimento, para que vos orientásseis![53]E de quando Moisés disse ao seu povo: Ó povo meu, por certo que vos condenastes, ao adorardes o bezerro. Voltai,portanto, contritos, penitenciando-vos para o vosso Criador, e imolai-vos mutuamente. Isso será preferível, aos olhos dovosso Criador. Ele vos absolverá, porque é o Remissório, o Misericordioso.[54]

Y cuando dimos a Moisés la Escritura y el Criterio. Quizás, así, fuerais bien dirigidos.[53]Y cuando Moisés dijo a su pueblo: ¡Pueblo! Habéis sido injustos con vosotros mismos al coger el ternero. ¡Volveos a vuestro Creador y mataos unos a otros.! Esto es mejor para vosotros a los ojos de vuestro Creador. Así se aplacará. Él es el Indulgente, el Misericordioso».[54]

আর (স্মরণ কর) যখন আমি মূসাকে কিতাব এবং সত্য-মিথ্যার পার্থক্য বিধানকারী নির্দেশ দান করেছি, যাতে তোমরা সরল পথ প্রাপ্ত হতে পার।[53]আর যখন মূসা তার সম্প্রদায়কে বলল, হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, তোমরা তোমাদেরই ক্ষতিসাধন করেছ এই গোবৎস নির্মাণ করে। কাজেই এখন তওবা কর স্বীয় স্রষ্টার প্রতি এবং নিজ নিজ প্রাণ বিসর্জন দাও। এটাই তোমাদের জন্য কল্যাণকর তোমাদের স্রষ্টার নিকট। তারপর তোমাদের প্রতি লক্ষ্য করা হল। নিঃসন্দেহে তিনিই ক্ষমাকারী, অত্যন্ত মেহেরবান।[54]
Hindi Quran V2:53-54
तथा (याद करो) जब हमने मूसा को पुस्तक (तौरात) तथा फ़ुर्क़ान प्रदान किया, ताकि तुम सीधी डगर पा सको।[53]
तथा (याद करो) जब मूसा ने अपनी जाति से कहाः तुमने बछड़े को पूज्य बनाकर अपने ऊपर अत्याचार किया है, अतः तुम अपने उत्पत्तिकार के आगे क्षमा याचना करो, वो ये कि आपस में एक-दूसरे[1] को वध करो। इसी में तुम्हारे उत्पत्तिकार के समीप तुम्हारी भलाई है। फिर उसने तुम्हारी तौबा स्वीकार कर ली। वास्तव में, वह बड़ा क्षमाशील, दयावान् है। [54]
