Quran Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow) 2iii- Verse 270-271   ( Whatever you Spend in Charity or Devotion, be Sure Allah Knows it All) 

Quran V2:270-271  

وَمَا أَنفَقْتُم مِّن نَّفَقَةٍ أَوْ نَذَرْتُم مِّن نَّذْرٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُهُ ۗ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ[270]

  إِن تُبْدُوا الصَّدَقَاتِ فَنِعِمَّا هِيَ ۖ وَإِن تُخْفُوهَا وَتُؤْتُوهَا الْفُقَرَاءَ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ ۚ وَيُكَفِّرُ عَنكُم مِّن سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ [271]

[{ وما أنفقتم من نفقة } أديتم من زكاة أو صدقة { أو نذرتم من نذر } فوفيتم به { فإن الله يعلمه } فيجازيكم عليه { وما للظالمين } بمنع الزكاة والنذر أو بوضع الإنفاق في غير محله من معاصي الله { من أنصار } مانعين لهم من عذابه . 

{ إن تبدوا } تظهروا { الصدقات } أي النوافل { فَنعمَّا هي } أي نعم شيئاً إبداؤها { وإن تخفوها } تسروها { وتؤتوها الفقراء فهو خير لكم } من إبدائها وإيتائها الأغنياء أما صدقة الفرض فالأفضل إظهارها ليقتدي به ولئلا يتهم، وإيتاؤها الفقراء متعين { ويكَفِّر } بالياء والنون مجزوما بالعطف على محل فهو ومرفوعا على الاستئناف { عنكم من } بعض { سيئاتكم والله بما تعملون خبير } عالم بباطنه كظاهره لا يخفى عليه شيء منه .]

[And whatever you spend of your wealth, whether it be zakat or charity, or whatever vow you make and fulfill, Allah knows it and will reward you for it. And the wrongdoers, by withholding zakat and vows or by misusing spending in ways that displease Allah, will have no helpers to protect them from His punishment.

If you disclose your voluntary charity, it is excellent. But if you conceal it and give it to the poor, it is better for you than disclosing it and giving it to the rich. As for obligatory charity, it is better to give it openly so that others may follow your example and so that you are not accused of wrongdoing. Giving it to the poor is obligatory. And He will expiate for you some of your sins. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do. He knows your inner thoughts as well as your outward actions; nothing is hidden from Him.]++

English Quran V2:270-271

And whatever you spend for spendings (e.g., in Sadaqah - charity, etc. for Allah's Cause) or whatever vow you make, be sure Allah knows it all. And for the Zalimun (wrong-doers, etc.) there are no helpers. [270]

If you disclose your Sadaqat (alms-giving), it is well, but if you conceal it, and give it to the poor, that is better for you. (Allah) will forgive you some of your sins. And Allah is Well-Acquainted with what you do.[271]

French Quran V2:270-271

Quelles que soient les dépenses que vous avez faites, ou le voeu que vous avez voué, Allah le sait. Et pour les injustes, pas de secoureurs ![270]

Si vous donnez ouvertement vos aumônes, c'est bien; c'est mieux encore, pour vous, si vous êtes discrets avec elles et vous les donniez aux indigents. Allah effacera une partie de vos méfaits. Allah est Parfaitement Connaisseur de ce que vous faites.[271]

German Quran V2:270-271

Und was immer ihr an Spenden ausgebt oder als Gelübde gelobt, Allah weiß es. Und die Ungerechten werden keine Helfer haben.[270]

Wenn ihr Almosen offen zeigt, so ist es trefflich. Wenn ihr sie aber verbergt und den Armen gebt, so ist es besser für euch, und Er (Allah) wird etwas von euren bösen Taten tilgen. Allah ist dessen, was ihr tut, Kundig.[271]

Portuguese Quran V2:270-271

De cada caridade que dispensais e de cada promessa que fazeis, Deus o sabe; sabei que os iníquos jamais terãoprotetores. [270] 

Se fizerdes caridade abertamente, quão louvável será! Porém, se a fizerdes, dando aos pobres dissimuladamente, serápreferível para vós, e isso vos absolverá de alguns dos vossos pecados, porque Deus está inteirado de tudo quanto fazeis.[271]

Spanish Quran V2:270-271

Sea cual sea la limosna que deis, sea cual sea el voto que hagáis, Alá lo conoce. Y los impíos no tendrán quien les auxilie.[270] 

Si dais limosna públicamente, es algo excelente. Pero, si la dais ocultamente y a los pobres, es mejor para vosotros y borrará en parte vuestras malas obras. Alá está bien informado de lo que hacéis.[271]

Swedish Quran V2:270-271

Gud har full kännedom om det som ni ger åt andra och det som ni [högtidligen] lovar att ge. Och de orättfärdiga [som inte bistår de behövande] skall ingen hjälpa [att undkomma straffet].[270]

Om ni ger så att andra ser det är det gott och väl; men om ni hjälper de fattiga i tysthet är det bättre för er - med detta kan ni nämligen få göra bot för några av era dåliga handlingar. Gud är väl underrättad om allt vad ni gör. [271]

Russian Quran V2:270-271

Что бы вы ни потратили, какой бы обет вы ни дали, Аллах знает об этом. Но для беззаконников нет помощников. [270]

Если вы раздаете милостыню открыто, то это прекрасно. Но если вы скрываете это и раздаете ее нищим, то это еще лучше для вас. Он простит вам некоторые из ваших прегрешений. Аллах ведает о том, что вы совершаете. [271]

তোমরা যে খয়রাত বা সদ্ব্যয় কর কিংবা কোন মানত কর, আল্লাহ নিশ্চয়ই সেসব কিছুই জানেন। অন্যায়কারীদের কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই।[270]

যদি তোমরা প্রকাশ্যে দান-খয়রাত কর, তবে তা কতইনা উত্তম। আর যদি খয়রাত গোপনে কর এবং অভাবগ্রস্তদের দিয়ে দাও, তবে তা তোমাদের জন্যে আরও উত্তম। আল্লাহ তাআলা তোমাদের কিছু গোনাহ দূর করে দিবেন। আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাজ কর্মের খুব খবর রাখেন। [271]

Hindi Quran V2:270-271

और तुम जो कुछ भी ख़र्च करो या कोई मन्नत मानो अल्लाह  उसको ज़रूर जानता है और (ये भी याद रहे) कि ज़ालिमों का (जो) अल्लाह  का हक़ मार कर औरों की नज़्र करते हैं (क़यामत में) कोई मददगार न होगा (270)
अगर ख़ैरात को ज़ाहिर में दो तो यह (ज़ाहिर करके देना) भी अच्छा है और अगर उसको छिपाओ और हाजतमन्दों को दो तो ये छिपा कर देना तुम्हारे हक़ में ज़्यादा बेहतर है और ऐसे देने को अल्लाह  तुम्हारे गुनाहों का कफ़्फ़ारा कर देगा और जो कुछ तुम करते हो अल्लाह  उससे ख़बरदार है (271)

ଏବଂ ତୁମେ ଯାହା ବି ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ କର କିମ୍ବା ମାନତ କର, ତାହା ଅଲ୍ଲାହ ଜାଣନ୍ତି। ଏବଂ (ମନେରଖ) ଯେ ଆଲ୍ଲାହଙ୍କ ଅଧିକାର ହଡ଼ପ କରୁଥିବା ଏବଂ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ପାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଅତ୍ୟାଚାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ (କିଆଦିନରେ) କେହି ସାହାଯ୍ୟକାରୀ ରହିବେ ନାହିଁ। (୨୭୦)

ଯଦି ତୁମେ ଖୋଲାଖୋଲି ଭାବରେ ଦାନ କର, ତେବେ ତାହା ଭଲ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଯଦି ତୁମେ ଏହାକୁ ଗୁପ୍ତ ରଖି ଅଭାବଗ୍ରସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଦିଅ, ତେବେ ତାହା କରିବା ତୁମ ପାଇଁ ଭଲ। ଏପରି ଦାନ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆଲ୍ଲାହ ତୁମର ପାପର ପ୍ରାୟଶ୍ଚିତ୍ତ କରିବେ। ଏବଂ ତୁମେ ଯାହା କରୁଛ ତାହା ଅଲ୍ଲାହ ଜାଣନ୍ତି। (୨୭୧)

Chinese Quran V2:270-271

凡你們所施的費用，凡你們所發的誓願，都確是真主所知道的。不義的人，絕沒有任何援助者。[270]

如果你們公開地施捨，這是很好的；如果你們秘密地施濟貧民，這對於你們是更好的。這能消除你們的一部分罪惡。真主是徹知你們的行為的。[271]

Japanese Quran V2:270-271 

あなたがたが，どんな施し物をしようとも，またどんな誓いを果たそうとも，アッラーは本当に凡てを知っておられる。凡そ不義を行う者を助ける者はない。[270] 
あなたがたは施しを，あらわにしても結構だが，人目を避けて貧者に与えれば更によい。それはあなたがたの罪悪（の汚）の一部を，払い清めるであろう。アッラーはあなたがたの行うことを熟知されておられる。[271]

Korean Quran V2:270-271 

너희가 자선으로 베풀었던 모든 것과 너희가 결심한 신앙심 을 하나님은 알고 계시니 우매한 자 도움을 받을 길이 없도다 [270] 

너회가 자선을 공개하는 것도 좋으나 남몰래 가난한 사람들 에게 베푸는 자선이 더 나으니라 이는 너회의 죄를 속죄하여 주나 니 하나님은 너희가 행하는 모든 것을 알고 계시니라 [271]

It is better for you to give charity openly. But if you give it secretly and give it to the poor, that is better for you. It will remove your sins from you. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.

(This verse praises both giving charity openly and secretly. Our scholars, who have studied other verses and Sharia evidence on this, conclude that if charity is obligatory, it is better to give it openly, because in this case, obedience to Allah's command is clearly visible and it is prevented from falling on those who are not entitled to it.
