Quran Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow) 2ii- Verse-171 ( In this verse, Allah Almighty compares the disbelievers to cattle that hear the voice of the shepherd but do not understand the meaning, and the Prophets to the shepherd who drives them.)
وَمَثَلُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا كَمَثَلِ الَّذِي يَنْعِقُ بِمَا لَا يَسْمَعُ إِلَّا دُعَاءً وَنِدَاءً ۚ صُمٌّ بُكْمٌ عُمْيٌ فَهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ
[{ ومثل } صفة { الذين كفروا } ومن يدعوهم إلى الهدي { كمثل الذي ينعق } يصوت { بما لا يسمع إلا دعاءً ونداءً } أي صوتا ولا يفهم معناه أي في سماع الموعظة وعدم تدبرها كالبهائم تسمع صوت راعيها ولا تفهمه، هم { صمٌ بكمٌ عميٌ فهم لا يعقلون } الموعظة .]
[And the example of those who disbelieve and those who call them to guidance is like that of one who shouts and calls out, but does not hear except a call and a cry, that is, a sound, but does not understand its meaning, that is, in hearing the admonition and not pondering it, like animals that hear the voice of their shepherd but do not understand it. They are deaf, dumb, and blind, so they do not understand the admonition.]++
And the example of those who disbelieve, is as that of him who shouts to the (flock of sheep) that hears nothing but calls and cries. (They are) deaf, dumb and blind. So they do not understand. Les mécréants ressemblent à [du bétail] auquel on crie et qui entend seulement appel et voix confus. Sourds, muets, aveugles, ils ne raisonnent point.
Das Gleichnis derjenigen, die ungläubig sind, ist wie jemand, der etwas nachschreit, was nichts hört außer Stimmen und Zurufen. Taub, stumm, blind; so begreifen sie nicht. O exemplo de quem exorta os incrédulos é semelhante ao daquele que chama as bestas, as quais não ouvem senão gritose vozerios. São surdos, mudos, cegos, porque são insensatos.
Los incrédulos son como cuando uno grita al ganado, que no percibe más que una llamada, un grito: son sordos, mudos, ciegos, no razonan. De som vägrar att lyssna till sanningen kan liknas vid [får] som hör [herdarnas] rop utan att förstå vad de betyder. Eftersom de inte använder sitt förstånd [förblir de] döva, stumma och blinda. Неверующие подобны скотине, на которую прикрикивает пастух, тогда как она не слышит ничего, кроме зова и крика. Они глухи, немы и слепы. Они ничего не разумеют.
বস্তুতঃ এহেন কাফেরদের উদাহরণ এমন, যেন কেউ এমন কোন জীবকে আহবান করছে যা কোন কিছুই শোনে না, হাঁক-ডাক আর চিৎকার ছাড়া বধির মুক, এবং অন্ধ। সুতরাং তারা কিছুই বোঝে না। और जिन लोगों ने कुफ्र एख़्तेयार किया उन की मिसाल तो उस शख्स की मिसाल है जो ऐसे जानवर को पुकार के अपना हलक़ फाड़े जो आवाज़ और पुकार के सिवा सुनता (समझता ख़ाक) न हो ये लोग बहरे गूँगे अन्धें हैं कि ख़ाक नहीं समझते (171)
ଓଡ଼ିଆ କୋରାନ୍ ଶ୍ଲୋକ ୨:୧୭୧
ଏବଂ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଅବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରନ୍ତି ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଉଦାହରଣ ସେହି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ପରି ଯିଏ ଏପରି ଏକ ପଶୁକୁ ଡାକେ ଯାହା ଶବ୍ଦ ଏବଂ ଡାକ ବ୍ୟତୀତ ଆଉ କିଛି ଶୁଣେ ନାହିଁ। ଏହି ଲୋକମାନେ ବଧିର, ମୂକ ଏବଂ ଅନ୍ଧ, ଏବଂ କିଛି ବୁଝିପାରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। (୧୭୧)

abng jeunmane abiswasa karanti semanankara udaharana sehi byakti pari jie epari eka pasuku dake jaahaa sabda abng daka byatita au kichhi sunne nahin. ehi lokamane badhira, mooka abng andha, abng kichhi bujhiparanti nahin. (satara)
你號召不信道者，就象叫喚只會聽呼喊的牲畜一樣。（他們）是聾的，是啞的，是瞎的，故他們不了解。
信仰を拒む者たちを譬えるならば，何と呼びかけられても，呼び声と叫び声の外聞けない者のようで，聾唖者，盲人である。したがってかれらは理解することが出来ない。
불신자들을 비유하매 목동 이 양떼를 고함질러 부르나 그말 을 이해하지 못하고 소리로 밖엔 들리지 아니하니 그들은 아무것도 모르는 귀머거리요 벙어리며 장님 이라
